EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) currently runs four unique Centres across Swindon which caters for pupils who for a variety of reasons cannot be educated within a mainstream setting.

Stratton Education Centre is for pupils who have been excluded from Secondary School. The Riverside Centre deals with pupils who have been diagnosed as vulnerable and anxious. The Adolescent Unit is a Tier 4 residential service for pupils with complex health issues and the Hospital and Home Education service educates pupils with medical conditions. All four Centres work in close collaboration for the benefit of young people.

The service had an Ofsted inspection (September 2017) and was classified as Good in all categories. EOTAS is fully staffed by a dedicated and professional team of teachers and support workers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work within our team of dedicated professionals at The Riverside Centre. The successful candidate will participate in activities designed to meet the emotional physical and learning needs of individual and groups of students. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to our students and reduce the barriers they face so that they can go on to achieve a better life.

This is a casual contract with variable hours to meet the needs of the service. Students and hours will be allocated by the Head of Centre and in consultation with the post-holder.
