EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) currently runs four unique Centres across Swindon which caters for students who for a variety of reasons cannot be educated within a mainstream setting.
Stratton Education Centre is for students who have been permanently excluded from secondary school. The Riverside Centre educates students who are vulnerable and anxious and therefore unable to attend a mainstream setting. The Adolescent Unit is a Tier 4 residential service for students with complex health issues and the Hospital and Home Education service educates students with medical conditions. All four Centres work in close collaboration for the benefit of the young people.
The service had an Ofsted inspection (April 2013) and was classified as Good in all categories. EOTAS is fully staffed by a dedicated and professional team of teachers and support workers.
