reducing barriers to better lives

Head of service – Lindsey Hull

Welcome to EOTAS.

EOTAS is “education other than at school” and through our four colleges we serve some of the most vulnerable young people in the South West who have exited mainstream education for a variety of reasons. We set high expectations for all, delivering the national curriculum within a flexible and nurturing environment that recognises individual needs. We have a strong pastoral support package that gives learners the opportunity to build their confidence, make better choices and overcome barriers to learning to prepare them for their next phase of education or employment. Our two “gold” standards are reintegrating young people to mainstream education and ensuring a solid and sustainable transition to post-16 education.
